James McCauley is from Harlem, New York. He is a junior at Columbia College currently studying Financial Economics and History. This past summer James worked as a Fixed Income Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Next year he will be working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in their Industrials Group.

 

James also plays Quarterback on the Columbia Football team. In his leftover spare time, James loves to read, watch movies, and play chess.

Ikem Ikekpeazu is from New Haven, Connecticut and is a Junior at Columbia studying Economics. This past summer, Ikem worked in Private Equity at Clearhaven Partners. Throughout his Junior year, he will be interning at J.P Morgan within their Equity Research Division.

 

In his free time, Ikem enjoys playing basketball, reading, and listening to music.

Karys Webb is from Brooklyn, New York. She is a junior at Columbia College currently studying Financial Economics and Public Health. This past summer Karys worked as a Corporate Bank Summer analyst at Deutsche Bank. Next year she will be working as an Investment Banking Summer analyst at Deutsche Bank in hopefully their Sponsors Group.

 

Karys also plays on the Columbia Women’s Rugby Club. In her leftover spare time, Karys loves to try new restaurants, hang out with friends, and shop.

Rami Kenawi was born and raised a native New Yorker from Flushing, Queens. He is a sophomore at Columbia College studying economics and computer science. This past summer Rami was an investment banking summer analyst working in debt capital markets.

 

A couple of fun facts about Rami is that he is Colombian and Egyptian. During his free time he loves to citi bike around Manhattan, travel and loves to play basketball.

Saul Quintanar is from Los Angeles, California. He is a junior at Columbia College currently studying Financial Economics and Sociology. This past summer, Saul worked as a Council Intern at the Los Angeles City Council.

Madison Garrett is from Brooklyn, New York. She is now a sophomore in Columbia College. As a political science major, Madison is on a pre-law track with interests in white-collar crime, contractual law, and criminal justice. She serves as the Founder and President of The Black Pre-Law Society on campus and is in the tenth month of her internship for The NYC Mayor’s Office.

Jordan Cancel is from Miami, Florida. He is a Sophomore at Columbia College studying political Science and Economics. Next year, Jordan will be interning at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking analyst

Samantha Gomez is from Ridgefield, New Jersey. She is a junior at Columbia University double-majoring in Financial Economics and Political Science, and joined BlackGen in Fall 2023. This past summer, she interned at Ramirez Asset Management. Next summer, she will be a Wealth Management Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch. 

 

Outside of Columbia, Samantha enjoys skiing, going to dininer with friends, and travelling.

Vice President of Finance

Camden Kirkman-Page is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is a junior at Columbia College double majoring in political science and human rights. This past summer Camden worked as a Global Finance and Business Management Summer Analyst at J.P Morgan Chase & Co. He has received a return offer for next summer.

 

Camden is also serving as a Resident Adviser on campus. In his spare time, Camden hangs out with friends, listens to music, and plays volleyball.
